Their work spans digital identity, payments, data exchange, and open standards — helping governments and institutions roll out scalable, secure systems that change lives.

The Role:

As a Senior Java Developer , you’ll join a cross-functional, international engineering team working on open-source platforms and reusable building blocks. You’ll be hands-on with architecture and development, while contributing to design discussions and decisions that shape the future of digital public infrastructure.

Tech environment:
Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Maven, CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and security best practices is a plus.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong Java engineering background (ideally 5+ years)
  
  
• Solid understanding of software architecture and distributed systems
  
  
• Experience building APIs and backend services from scratch
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  
  
• Bonus: experience with open-source projects or working in/with public sector or NGOs
