Senior Manager PBV Conversions & Business Support (all genders welcome) at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Job mission:
As the Senior Manager PBV Conversions & Business Support, you will lead the development of Kia Europe’s Purpose-Built Vehicle (PBV) conversions ecosystem and sales enablement strategy. In this dual-focus role, you will be responsible for defining, driving, and delivering the long-term success of PBV conversions—covering strategy, partnerships, tools, visibility, and ESG alignment—while also directly supporting PBV sales growth across Europe. You will work across functions and borders, engaging with key internal stakeholders (including Sales, R&D, and NSCs) and external partners (including converters and key accounts), helping position Kia as a leader in sustainable, customized mobility solutions.
Your responsibilities:
PBV Conversions Strategy & Ecosystem Development:
- Define and execute the long-term strategy for PBV conversions in Europe, including planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Identify business needs and opportunities to strengthen and scale the conversions offering across markets.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with converters, national markets, R&D (Kia HQ and HMETC), and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and implement tools and processes to support bodybuilders and conversion partners.
- Ensure ESG targets are embedded within the conversions strategy and are measurable and achievable.
- Represent the conversions domain at external and internal events, industry exhibitions, conventions, and training programs.
- Act as a subject matter expert for conversions, supporting NSCs, distributors, and internal departments on technical, commercial, and regulatory matters.
- Sales Support & Business Enablement:
- Work closely with the Sales department to coordinate all PBV-related sales activities, including fleet sales strategy and execution.
- Define PBV sales targets and actively support in achieving them through operational planning and implementation of sales actions.
- Develop a fleet-specific sales strategy for PBVs, including tools, processes, and customer engagement models.
- Support NSCs and key account teams in PBV tendering processes and client engagements.
- Assist with business case creation and pricing scenarios tailored to PBV use cases.
- Drive alignment between conversions and sales functions to ensure a unified go-to-market strategy.
Your talents:
- Extensive Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive sales, including fleet and business development, ideally with exposure to vehicle conversions, electrification, or mobility solutions.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven experience in developing and launching new business models and long-term strategies.
- International Project Management: Strong background in managing international, cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience with building business cases, supporting tenders, and working with key accounts.
- Presentation & Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence across cultures and seniority levels.
- Organizational Skills: Highly structured working style with exceptional planning and execution capabilities.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Empathic and pragmatic, able to manage resistance, solve complex problems under pressure, and adapt in fast-evolving environments.
- Cultural Fluency: Comfortable working in a multicultural, matrix organization, and across European markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- University degree in Business, Engineering, Automotive, or a related field.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
- Passionate about future mobility, sustainability, and customer-centric innovation.
- Strong self-motivation, originality, and hands-on execution skills.
