Essential Skills & Experience
- Fluency in English (B2+); German proficiency is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python (typed/Mypy), Celery, and Flask
- Experience with Docker and Linux; familiarity with cluster computing (e.g. IBM LSF, SLURM)
- Knowledge of software development best practices
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Strong software architecture and design skills
- Background in bioinformatics (Snakemake, Nextflow)
- Understanding of medical software regulations such as IEC 62304 and ISO 15189
