Tasks:

• Creation of 3D content for autostereoscopic displays, in particular tactical maps and flight simulations of mission scenarios
• Implementation of interactive 2D cockpit display content in the Unreal Engine
• Optimizing the performance and display of 3D and 2D content, taking into account aviation-specific requirements
• Independent analysis and solution of technical problems during software development
• Collaboration and coordination with the team to ensure consistent UI/UX integration

Skills:

• Completed studies (Bachelor or higher) in electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable field of study
• At least 2 years of professional experience in software development, ideally in aviation or simulation technology
• Sound knowledge of Unreal Engine, stereo camera technology, flight simulation, maps/landscapes and performance optimization
• Experience in UI/UX design; knowledge of Python an advantage
• Strong teamwork, communication and coordination skills
• Very good German and good English skills
