What you will be doing
You will be advising and supporting our clients as a Solution Architect, and helping to establish, develop and maintain our clients‘ Enterprise Architecture practice (focusing on developing and evaluating solution architectures). As part of the role you will be:
- Analyzing projects and programs to understand the impact on the architecture
- Analyzing and evaluating solution architecture proposals
- Developing and documenting solution architectures
- Advising projects on architecture matters
- Taking the lead on transformation projects
- Developing reference architectures
- Establishing a portfolio of standards
- Conducting architecture reviews
- Reviewing and realigning Enterprise Architecture practices
- Coaching and training of solution architects
What we expect from you
We expect you to meet the following skills, experiences, and academic requirements:
- Degree in business information systems, business economics/business administration or a related discipline
- Senior level experience of working as a software or solution architect
- Knowledge of the most important design methods and architecture patterns
- Hands-on experience of working with architecture evaluation and analysis methods such as SAAM and ATAM
- Hands-on experience of working with established architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF® and ArchiMate®
- Business domain knowledge and ideally industry knowledge
- Broad IT knowledge
- Strong project management skills
- Strong abstract and structured thinking skills and ability to look at the big picture
- Strong willingness to learn
- Driven by goals and results
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal as well as written communication skills in English and German (proficiency in a third language is a plus)
- Ability to interact with management at all levels
