Accountant (m/f/d)

Specialized company in the field of civil engineering, concrete construction, electrical and telecommunications engineering is looking for a new team member to join immediately for the Head Office in Frauental.

Activities

Financial accounting:

• Management of financial accounting up to the trial balance
• Supporting the tax advisor in preparing the consolidated financial statements
• Maintenance of asset accounting
• Management of monthly cost accounting
• Cooperation with the tax advisor and auditor

Financial statements and reporting:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with legal and internal company guidelines.

Taxes and Compliance:

• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns

Payment transactions and dunning:

• Execution of payment transactions, monitoring of outstanding invoices and dunning
• Ensuring timely payment of liabilities

Documentation and guidelines:

• Maintaining and updating accounting policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and practices

Requirements

• successfully completed commercial training or studies with a focus on finance and accounting
• existing accountant examination
• several years of professional experience in accounting, cost accounting and controlling
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office – knowledge of BMD NTCS
• good knowledge of tax and accounting issues
• independent, precise, structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Experience in leading teams and strong communication skills
• confidential handling of sensitive financial data
