We are looking for a (Senior) Test Engineer (f/m/d) for our team at B. Braun New Ventures in Freiburg.

Duties and responsibilities:

• You define and perform hardware and software tests of various components in the areas of robotics, navigation, and visualization systems - accompanying projects from conception to launch
• You discover and formulate test specifications based on product requirements as well as on normative and regulatory requirements
• You perform systematic testing as well as explorational testing
• Your role will involve designing and executing test protocols that ensure tools meet accuracy requirements for clinical use.
• You develop methods and tools for structured and efficient testing - including test automation
• You write test plans and test reports as part of the technical documentation
• You work in an interdisciplinary project team that implements the project using SCRUM
• You take broad responsibility for the verification and validation process and significantly contribute to the progress of projects

Professional competencies:

• Technical expertise includes strong hardware and software knowledge in the medical field
• Industry experience covers verification, validation, and documentation of medical devices
• Standards interpretation such as IEC 60601 and similar technical guidelines is well mastered
• Statistical methods and tools for verification, including sample size calculations, are confidently applied
• Risk management knowledge for medical devices is considered a valuable asset
• Testing passion drives a meticulous and enthusiastic approach to quality assurance
• Quality standards are set high while maintaining a strong commitment to timely task completion

Personal competencies:

• You are a hands-on doer, a self-starter, a strong team player and a continuous learner
• Fluent communication in English. It would be a plus if you are fluent in German
• Enthusiasm for high-tech medical products rounds up your profile
