Job description

For more than 95 years, ERICH JAEGER has been developing and manufacturing high-quality connectors for various industries. In addition to many well-known automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturers, companies from other other industries are among our customers. Currently, more than 1000 employees work at our corporate headquarters in Germany, three production sites in Mexico, the Czech Republic and China as well as sales offices in the USA, France, Poland and Italy.

To strengthen our team in Friedberg in the greater Frankfurt/Main area, we are looking for a Global Head of Supply Chain Management to optimize and manage our global supply chain processes. In this position you will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of efficient logistics solutions to strengthen the competitiveness of our company in the automotive industry.

Tasks

• Development and implementation of global supply chain strategies to ensure material availability and cost efficiency
• Management and further development of an international team of supply chain experts
• Analysis and optimization of procurement, warehousing and distribution processes
• Coordination with internal departments and external partners to ensure a smooth flow of information and goods
• Monitoring of KPIs and creation of reports for performance evaluation and continuous improvement
• Identification and implementation of best practices and innovative technologies to increase efficiency

Requirements

• Degree in logistics, business administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a leading position in supply chain management, ideally in the automotive industry
• Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 (modules MM, SD and PP), ideally S/4HANA
• Strong analytical skills and experience in process optimization
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English
• Experience in leading and motivating international teams
• Willingness to occasionally travel internationally
• Experience with ERP systems and modern supply chain tools
