Working as a SpLD Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with specific learning difficulties. You will be utilizing your expertise in assessing SpLD, whilst also providing valuable insights and recommendations to support individuals in overcoming learning barriers and achieving their full potential.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited too:

• Conducting remote SpLD assessments using appropriate assessment tools and technologies.
• Gathering relevant information and other pertinent data to inform the assessment process.
• Employing a variety of assessment methods, including standardised tests, interviews, and observations, to identify and evaluate Specific Learning Difficulties.
• Analysing assessment results and generating detailed reports outlining specific strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations for accommodations or interventions.
• Staying current with best practices, research, and developments in SpLD assessment to enhance the quality of service provided.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse, allied health professional or medical practitione
• Registration with the NMC.
• Relevant experience in providing SpLD assessments.
• Experience managing your own workload.
