In this role, you will help bring stainless steel spinforming to production level and contribute directly to building the next generation of spaceflight hardware.
The What
As a Spinforming Technician, you play a key role in developing and scaling the spinforming production processes for large stainless steel domes.
You combine deep technical expertise with a hands-on approach, working directly on the machines while continuously improving the manufacturing process.

You ensure that spinforming processes deliver precision, reliability and repeatability at production scale.
- Develop the production process for spinforming large stainless steel domes
- Optimize existing spinforming processes across all production lanes
- Increase machine output by simplifying and improving production workflows

You collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers, technicians and operators to improve production processes.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to solve technical challenges
- Share knowledge and support others in improving spinforming operations

- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose practical improvements

- Ensure machines are operated safely, precisely and consistently

YOUR PROFILE
You are an experienced spinforming specialist who enjoys working close to the machine while continuously improving processes.
You likely bring:
- 3+ years of experience in spinforming
- Experience working with Leifeld spinforming machines
- Experience developing spinforming programs
- Strong hands-on experience operating spinforming equipment
- A precision and quality driven mindset
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of heat treatment processes for stainless steel or aluminium
- CNC experience
Language requirements:
- German (native level)
- English (B1 or higher)

- Full on-site presence in Garching
