Purpose and Objective:
We seek a Product Marketing Specialist to lead content-driven marketing strategies for SAP Business Network for Procurement. You will focus on creating and distributing valuable content to define market positioning, generate demand, and optimize customer engagement throughout the journey.
What You'll Do
As a pivotal member of our Product Marketing team, you will emphasize content marketing to amplify the value of SAP Business Network for Procurement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and represent compelling product messaging, positioning, and branding to customers, partners, analysts, press, and internal teams, serving as a key evangelist through content channels
- Create and execute go-to-market strategies, with a strong emphasis on content assets such as executive presentations, blogs, customer-facing collateral, videos, case studies, and webinars that highlight procurement collaboration and innovations
- Collaborate with SAP Business Suite (Public and Private Cloud) and SAP Ariba Product Marketing to ensure SAP Business Network for Procurement is effectively positioned against complimentary solutions and packages
- Own product/feature release communications, including messaging frameworks, announcement content, public roadmaps, and updates to SAP.com and SAP Community pages focused on procurement
- Lead the development of customer journey content, programs, and resources, ensuring quality, consistency, and completeness while curating hero customer stories to drive engagement
- Plan and execute annual marketing campaigns, determine the optimal content mix and tactics, and contribute to Integrated Demand Programs (IDPs), monitoring KPIs like engagement, conversion, and lead generation to refine approaches
- Serve as the content lead for Tier 1 SAP events, 3rd-party industry events, and analyst engagements, delivering insightful presentations and materials on supply chain and procurement trends
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and partner teams to produce sales enablement content, including demos, technical reviews, and ecosystem-focused materials to extend market reach
- Analyze content performance using data-driven methods (e.g., trends, KPIs) to provide insights, optimize distribution, and advise on growth opportunities through targeted content strategies
- Drive content innovation in areas like AI-enhanced procurement insights and automation, partnering to create educational resources that facilitate adoption
- Manage content projects across cross-functional teams, including defining timelines, producing executive reports, and leading change management for marketing initiatives
- Build relationships with senior peers, manage content teams or contributors, set objectives, provide feedback, and support development through performance management and recruitment focused on marketing talent
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and three (3) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a related occupation
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience: Experience must involve a significant portion of the following:
- Developing and executing content strategies, including audience research, competitor analysis, and translation of insights into marketing recommendations
- Creating and managing high-impact content assets (e.g., blogs, videos, collateral) to support product positioning and demand generation
- Performing quantitative analysis (e.g., Excel modeling) and problem-solving to measure content performance, KPIs, and marketing ROI
- Project management for content campaigns, including defining processes, leading cross-functional teams, and presenting results to senior executives
- Conducting market research, tracking engagement trends, and optimizing content for customer journeys in B2B environments
- Driving marketing change management and supporting growth through collaborative content initiatives with sales and marketing teams
- Defining and implementing marketing plans, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies with a focus on content to drive product adoption in B2B cloud solutions
- Developing targeted content for account-specific and market-specific growth, including SEO-optimized materials and promotional campaigns
- Engaging with customers, partners, and analysts through content creation, building demos, and influencing executives in global marketing settings
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience in content marketing for enterprise software, ideally in procurement or supply chain solutions, ideally in B2B environments
- Strong understanding of content trends, including AI-driven personalization, and familiarity with tools for content creation and analytics
- Expertise in B2B marketing support, such as campaign execution, lead nurturing through content, and partner ecosystem collaborations
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences (fluency in English required; additional languages a plus)
- Self-starter with analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, and passion for crafting engaging content
- Strong collaboration abilities in international teams, with willingness to travel worldwide
