Intro
Akkuracy is working to become Germany’s leading authority on battery safety. We are not a high-throughput lab but excel in high-quality cell- and small-scale testing to maximize understanding of the thermal runaway process. To achieve this, we conduct conventional abuse tests as well as specialized calorimetry and gas analysis using our purpose-built setup.
Right now, we are growing our team and are looking for you to join us! As part of Akkuracy you will work in a dynamic and friendly environment, where you support with technical tasks like designing new test rigs, upgrading existing hardware, and executing tests.
Tasks
- You support with testing of batteries, including set up in the test rig, test execution, and data analysis
- You develop, prepare, and/or maintain thermal runaway tests rigs
- You are part of setting up our laboratory and assist with ad-hoc tasks that come up in a young company
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in an engineering or science degree
- You have the ability to work hands-on, proven through projects, and enjoy doing so
- You have a strong interest in battery technology and willingness to learn
- You have the ability to communicate well in English
- You have the flexibility to work two days per week on site during term time. (Excluding exam periods. We are flexible during that time.)
