The Role:
As a Category Manager (m/f/d) you are the preferred category partner for our key clients and drive category growth for our partner & brands.
Your tasks:
- Cultivate Strong Retailer Relationships: Build robust relationships with all relevant stakeholders, conduct regular meetings to review performance, share shopper insights, and provide accountability for distribution and performance analysis.
- Tailor Category Growth Strategies: Cascade the overall category growth strategy to specific key retailers and develop customized strategies and tactics to maximize their unique category growth opportunities.
- Enhance Category Presence & Shopper Experience: Create compelling category planogram visions, including CPD brand visions, and lead co-creation projects with retail partners to elevate the shopper experience.
- Leverage Shopper Insights: Support and conduct in-depth shopper studies in collaboration with CMI (Consumer & Market Insights) to gain valuable consumer understanding.
- Drive Internal Alignment & Risk Management: Ensure aligned communication strategies through regular exchanges with the retailer's sales team and proactively inform the organization about CPD growth opportunities and potential business risks based on data analysis and customer feedback.
Your Profile:
- Completed university degree
- Professional experience, especially in Category Management, Key Account Management, Marketing, or similar fields
- Very good knowledge of Excel and Nielsen, ECR Category Manager certification is an advantage.
- Structured and analytical way of working, strong communication skills, assertiveness, and negotiation skills, enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment.
- Very good written and spoken English and French or German skills.
