About the Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva , within the Finance Department , the Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and optimising all food & beverage and operational costs to ensure effective cost management and profitability across the hotel. The Cost Controller reports directly to the Director of Finance .
As Cost Controller , you will be responsible for:
• Controlling and analyzing all Food & Beverage costs, including daily and monthly variance reports.
• Conducting regular spot checks and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborating closely with the Purchasing, Kitchen, and F&B teams to optimize cost efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and company standards.
• Preparing and submitting monthly reports and cost analyses for management review.
• Weekly F&B Cost analysis.
As Cost Controller , we expect from you:
• Proven experience in cost control or finance within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in cost control systems and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SAP or similar ERP tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• Fluency in English; French or another European language is a plus.
