The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship is a non-profit institution based in Geneva which champions contemporary craftspeople worldwide with the aim of promoting a more human, inclusive and sustainable future. The Foundation seeks to highlight the connections between craft, the wider arts and the design world. Its mission is to both celebrate and preserve craftsmanship and its diversity of makers, materials and techniques, by increasing craft’s everyday recognition and its viability as a professional path for the next generations. From engaging educational programmes to its signature digital project the Homo Faber Guide and international exhibition the Homo Faber Event, the Foundation is fostering a cultural movement centered on master artisans.
Contract: From 1 November 2025 to 30 September 2026
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Reporting to the Homo Faber Guide Manager , this role will be responsible for:
Homo Faber Guide Data Management on Salesforce (60%):
Follow the team and Salesforce processes;
Upload and integrate new and updated contents on Salesforce and thus ensure their coherence and quality;
Control the data integrated by other stakeholders and make sure it meets the requirements for Homo Faber Guide publication;
Fill in and ensure the quality of the data liaising with internal (project managers, photo editor, copywriter, data quality coordinator) and external stakeholders (artisans, etc.)
Coordinate the approval of the contents through the various processes of the content uploads (editor, copywriters, artisans…);
Answer to demands and questions of internal and external stakeholders;
Anticipate and organize works and contents in order to respect the planning of publication;
Edit and resize the visual content in order to reach the web criteria and the quality criteria of the Foundation;
Create, edit and schedule the Homo Faber Guide ads banners on desktop and mobile;
Take an active part in the objects management: creation, update, publication;
Assign the appropriate categorisation to the published or unpublished profiles – following an internal code;
Homo Faber Image Library & E-catalogue uploads (30%):
For E-catalogue and other requisite content: Upload all the photo and video assets on the image library with the appropriate metadata (i.e. captions, criteria, Copyrights and rights) according to the defined classification;
Ensure the classification meets the need of internal stakeholders (Communication Department and Image and Content Department);
Platform maintenance (5%):
when necessary:
Test the platform, report precisely any bug or issue, and ensure its proper functioning – in close cooperation with Digital Project Manager and Database Coordinator;
Do data cleaning on the Salesforce platform;
Do data enrichment when necessary;
Homo Faber Guide mail box follow-up (5%):
Read and answer to the email received in this box – covering 100% of the emails;
Transfer them when necessary and make sure an answer is sent;
Inform the artisans of their publication following the processes;
The successful candidate will demonstrate alignment with the Foundation values and goals.
Knowledge
Knowledge in art and design and interest in the métiers d’art.
Fluent in English and/or in French, Italian is an asset.
Experience
Familiar with digital asset management systems and Salesforce
Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign
Skills
Rigorous, well-organised, precise and detail-oriented.
