We are seeking an experienced and results-driven FX and Precious Metals Sales Specialist to join our team in Geneva. As a key member of the FX and Precious Metals Sales Team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients, providing expert advice on over-the-counter (OTC) foreign exchange and precious metals products, and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies. A significant focus of this role will be working with our Direct Access Clients (DAC), who require bespoke solutions and direct market access.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships with Julius Baer’s client base, including intermediaries and family offices, and high net worth individuals, as well as our Direct Access Clients (DAC)
  • Provide expert market analysis, research, and recommendations on OTC pro-ducts on Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with DACs, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support, including timely execution, competitive pricing, and customized solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including trading, research, and marketing teams, to stay informed about market trends, product developments, and competitor activity
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry events, conferences, and networking activities to expand the client base
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, market developments, and industry trends, ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and regulations
  • Work closely with the trading desk to ensure seamless execution of client trades and to provide feedback on market conditions and client needs

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FX and/or precious metals sales, preferably in a similar role within a bank or financial institution, with a focus on OTC products
  • Strong understanding of OTC foreign exchange and precious metals markets, including market dynamics, products, and trading strategies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insightful market analysis and recommendations
  • Fluency in English and French is a requirement, with additional languages being an asset
