In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

The Microsoft Dynamics Delivery Project Executive is a senior client-facing leader responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of large and complex Microsoft Dynamics programs (ERP, CRM, and Power Platform). This role ensures high-quality execution across the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through deployment and ongoing support, while managing client expectations, financial performance, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics programs, ensuring scope, quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary executive contact for client stakeholders, fostering trusted relationships and driving satisfaction, adoption, and long-term value realization.
  • Governance & Risk Management: Establish governance structures, track progress against milestones, manage risks/issues, and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee multidisciplinary delivery teams, including architects, functional/technical consultants, and change management specialists. Inspire high performance and collaborative ways of working.
  • Financial Management: Own program financials including P&L accountability, forecasting, resourcing, and margin management.
  • Methodology & Best Practices: Ensure adoption of industry-standard delivery frameworks and Microsoft methodologies (Sure Step, Agile, hybrid), driving continuous improvement and innovation in delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, consistent, and transparent communication to client executives, program sponsors, and internal leadership.
  • Change & Adoption: Partner with business leaders to drive organizational readiness, process redesign, and effective adoption of Dynamics solutions.
  • Growth & Business Development: Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-sell/upsell of additional Microsoft services, and contribute to proposal development for new projects.

Required education
Required technical and professional expertise
  • 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, systems integration, or enterprise application delivery.
  • 7+ years of proven success in leading large-scale ERP/CRM transformation programs, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics CE, or Power Platform.
  • Strong program and project management expertise (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred).
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Azure, Power BI, and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent client relationship management, executive communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Proven experience with financial management of large consulting engagements (>€10M TCV desirable).
  • Strong leadership and people management experience in global and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-vendor environments and establish collaborative partnerships.
  • Executive presence and ability to engage credibly with C-level stakeholders.
  • Results-driven, resilient, and comfortable managing ambiguity in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Passion for digital transformation, cloud technologies, and enabling business growth through technology.
  • Fluent command of English
  • Swiss or EU nationality, or valid Swiss work permit.
