The Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship is a non-profit institution based in Geneva which champions contemporary craftspeople worldwide with the aim of promoting a more human, inclusive and sustainable future. The Foundation seeks to highlight the connections between craft, the wider arts and the design world. Its mission is to both celebrate and preserve craftsmanship and its diversity of makers, materials and techniques, by increasing craft’s everyday recognition and its viability as a professional path for the next generations. From engaging educational programmes to its signature digital project the Homo Faber Guide and international exhibition the Homo Faber Event, the Foundation is fostering a cultural movement centered on master artisans.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The Press and Media Intern will support the Press and Media Coordinator in the coordination and implementation of press and media activities and communication projects across all initiatives of the Michelangelo Foundation and Homo Faber. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a 10-month internship position with start date 05.01.2025.
In line with this, you will support the press and media coordinator and your responsibilities would include:

Follow up of press inquiries
Coordination of press material production
Event production related to press events (meetings / conferences) + press trip/s (travel and logistics)
Preparation of PR reports/coverage
Enrich and keep up to date the press master list in collaboration with the digital team
Support in the implementation of local activations and of the media plan
Please note that this position requires availability to travel.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Fluent in English (French and Italien is an asset)
- Training in communcation or humanities preferred
- Detailed oriented, well-organized, flexible, good interpersonal communication skills, interests in art & culture
- Computer profiency including Word and Excel
- Autonomous and polyvalent
- Available for a 10-month internship with starting date 05.01.2025
