Consultant (m/f/d) - in the field of data-based management consulting

We, the IPE team, are looking for a Consultant (m/f/d) to support our team. We are a data-based management consultancy focussing on economic issues and the preparation of scientific studies on socially relevant topics. Clients see us as an extended workbench for their external affairs department in order to substantiate their own narratives economically and scientifically. With our diverse expertise, we advise various industries and the public sector worldwide.

Your tasks

• You will be integrated into empirical and strategic project work with our national and international clients from day one
• You are responsible for the operational and content-related support of our projects and play a key role in their successful implementation
• You support the project management in the implementation of econometric models in different programmes (e.g. STATA, R, Python).
• Together with the project management, you prepare the results and the resulting reliable statements and strategic recommendations for action in a way that is suitable for the target group.

What you bring with you

• You have a university degree in a business or technical field (e.g. economics, mathematics, industrial engineering, statistics, business informatics or similar) and have completed your studies with above-average academic performance.
• Ideally, you have already gained initial professional experience (e.g. as an intern) in a management consultancy, in industry or science
• You have an "entrepreneurial mindset" and would like to work in a customer-orientated way
• You like to work data-driven
• Ideally, you have a sound knowledge of working with at least one common statistical software (e.g. STATA, R, SPSS, Python).
• You can demonstrate very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel and MS Power Point)
• You work in a structured, organised and independent manner
• You have a very good command of German and English
• You have the ability to present and explain complex issues in a simple and target-group-specific way.
