Role Overview

We are hiring an IT Network / System Administrator to take a key role in managing and developing the entire on-premise IT infrastructure for one of our client. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of networks, servers, clients, and communication systems across several production sites.
You will work hands-on with approximately 500 devices across a complex environment that includes industrial shop-floor systems, office IT, and mission-critical production technologies.

What You Will Do

• Administer and optimize the on-prem network, servers, clients, and telephony (~500 devices).

• Ensure infrastructure availability and security (TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, WLAN, DHCP, etc.).

• Provide 1st & 2nd-level support for both office and production users.

• Manage Windows Server, Windows Client, and Microsoft Office environments.

• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and system incidents.

• Participate in company-wide IT improvement and infrastructure projects.

• Maintain system documentation, configurations, and incident logs.

Must-Have Requirements

• 5+ years of IT/network administration in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• German: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level required.

• Valid Class B driving license + own vehicle

• Structured, reliable, and proactive & strong in communication and problem solving

Deep knowledge of:

• TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, RDP, HTTP/S

• WLAN, VLAN

• Windows Server & Windows Client

• Microsoft Office ecosystem

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Sophos or Lancom

• English proficiency

• Experience in industrial IT setups or multi-site environments
