The Role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the financial operations of our organization, providing guidance in various aspects of financial management across multiple entities within our group. The ideal applicant will have a background in finance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a supportive team environment.
What you'll do
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for multiple entities within the group.
- Coordination and consolidation of financial information from various departments and subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Driving continuous improvements in speed and accuracy in the monthly and yearly close process.
- Managing and supporting local audits, as well as the preparation and audit of group financial statements.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering relevant data, preparing reports, and assisting in the development of financial projections.
- Collaborating with other members of the finance team to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices.
- Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed, providing support to other stakeholders.
What you bring to the table
- University degree in business administration with focus on controlling/accounting or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the areas of controlling, auditing, or accounting.
- Ideally, gained experience with Lucanet and common BI tools .
- Curious and innovative mindset focused on improving processes.
- Detail-oriented individual who values accuracy and high standards while employing practical business judgment.
- Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Strong communication, conflict management, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in both German and English, both spoken and written.
