Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Associate Director to join a fast-growing pharmaceutical organization in Basel, Switzerland.
This senior Supply Chain and Customer Operations role is responsible for leading regional logistics performance, 3PL partnerships, and order-to-delivery excellence across EMEA.
The position is key in supporting market supply, enhancing customer experience, and strengthening distribution capability across key territories, including the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and the Nordics.
Key responsibilities as Supply Chain Associate Director include:
- Lead 3PL management across Europe, ensuring high-quality service, compliance, and performance improvement
- Oversee customer service and order-to-cash processes, ensuring reliable delivery to local affiliates and commercial teams
- Act as the operations interface between Supply Planning and EMEA markets, ensuring accurate demand flow and issue escalation
- Drive supply chain network performance, identifying opportunities to optimize distribution routes, service levels, and logistics models
- Partner with affiliates and commercial teams to understand market needs and ensure supply readiness across priority regions
- Support continuous improvement in customer experience, operational efficiency, systems, and reporting
The ideal candidate profile:
- Extensive background in Logistics, Customer Service, and Distribution ideally within the Life Sciences industry (Pharma preferred)
- Proven experience managing 3PLs and external logistics partners across multiple markets
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market operations, affiliate models, and commercial supply flows
- Proficient in SAP S/4HANA with strong operational and analytical capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and international environments
- Fluent in English; French language skills are an advantage
- Collaborative and proactive leadership style with the ability to drive performance and change in a fast-growing environment
