To strengthen our team at the Gifhorn site, we are looking for a full-time or part-time Coding Specialist / Profiler Medical Controlling (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Ensuring correct and timely case coding in the DRG system across all somatic departments and locations within the framework of the cluster structures Medical Controlling, with the possibility of specialization
• Case-related coding and support for all professional groups involved in coding
• Optimization of medical service documentation
• Training and further training of medical and nursing staff in connection with the DRG system and in the use of IT systems
• Dealing with cost bearers, assessment and justification in connection with health insurance inquiries

• You have completed training as a healthcare and nursing assistant/medical assistant or medical documentation assistant (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in coding and medical controlling as well as previous knowledge of the DRG system desirable
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as social competence
• Willingness and ability to work in interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, nursing staff, therapists and case management
• High level of commitment, initiative and sense of responsibility
• IT skills (in particular Microsoft° Office, SAP IS-H)
• Proof of immunization against measles
