EE Validation Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Gilching

Responsibilities:

• Contribution to the project planning documents (cost, function and schedules) in coordination with the lead engineer and test manager
• Design and set up of the test environment
• Protocol and evaluation of test results concerning fulfillment of the requirements
• Highlighting of development risks (cost, schedule, technology) as well as recommendation of counter measures and problem solutions in accordance with the lead engineer and test manager
• Represent test concept and test results towards the lead engineer and customer
• Contact person to internal and external customers control of external test laboratories
• Contribution to development activities
• Participation and contribution to project specific release decisions
• Support of the plants by carrying out analyses

Qualifications:

• Profound experience in EMC, functional, environmental, software or hardware tests preferably in the automotive industry through study-accompanying jobs and internships
• Expert knowledge of measurement technology and tools like Labview
• Deep experiences with development processes like CMM(I) or ASPICE
• Experiences with functional safety ISO 26262
• Deep knowledge of development processes and their application in the automotive industry is highly appreciated
• Comprehensive system knowledge combined with structured and analytical way of thinking
• Distinct time management to independently arrange and balance tasks
• Capacity for enthusiasm on complex mechatronical systems in the automotive industry
• High level of assertiveness
• Fluent language skills in English and German
