We are looking for the location in Gleichen (Germany) or in Madrid (Spain)!

• Development and management according to DO178, including the associated documentation
• Development and integration of device drivers in Linux-based systems
• Integration of software components and libraries in Linux-based systems
• Development, management, and maintenance of model-based standards according to DO331
• Software development for microcontroller-based controls, particularly in the aviation sector
• Close collaboration with the process assurance team and verification and validation
• Working in highly motivated project teams within the Business Unit Aviation
• Willingness and clear commitment to lead software project and process issues

• A technical university degree (Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable)
• Knowledge in programming embedded systems, e.g., Linux-based systems
• Technical knowledge of camera systems and image signal processing is an advantage
• Experience in working with measurement technology and hardware-related development
• Experience in functional safety. Experience in the aviation industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of programming languages Python and C# is an advantage to take on various adjacent tasks
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
