Responsibilities

• Act as strategic Controlling Business Partner and key point of contact for Senior Sales Management to support strategic decision-making and the overall growth vision

• Conduct market and competitive analysis and implement processes for the continuous collection, structuring, and integration of external data

• Source, align, and integrate qualitative and quantitative data — including third-party market research, pipeline developments, and financial reports — into cohesive views of market performance

• Collaborate closely with the BI Finance team to align on external value drivers and enhance forecast modeling

• Proactively identify opportunities and risks, and evaluate business processes to drive improvements and profitability optimization

• Analyze Funnel, Order Intake, Orders on Hand, Sales and Gross Margin development to give visibility and insights to Senior Sales Management

• Perform monthly analysis on functional expenses and headcount development in the commercial area

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

• Foster a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and collaboration

• You have an academic degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent with strong focus on data analysis

• Several years of professional experience within a multinational corporation, ideally in Finance and Controlling and/or Market Intelligence

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex issues with a focus on the essentials

• Customer oriented mindset to understand business needs, translate these into solutions and communicate results in a comprehensive manner

• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to analyze quickly and take appropriate action

• Team player with self-motivated and proactive personality

• Skills in the field of Business Intelligence tools

• Experience working with external intelligence platforms such as PitchBook and GlobalData is an advantage

• Fluency in written and verbal in English and German
