We are looking for a dedicated Lab Technician (x|f|m) for the EMEA Training division at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. You will not only take on exciting tasks in the operational laboratory and training business, but also contribute to the smooth planning, coordination, and implementation of our diverse activities. As part of a team of seven motivated colleagues, you will help shape the future of our training landscape. The position is permanent, full-time, and based on-site at the Goettingen campus.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
Ensuring the operational readiness of our laboratories and laboratory equipment; coordinating external service providers and managing inventory
Preparing laboratories, materials, and technical setups for training courses, customer demonstrations, and visitor groups
Professional preparation, provision, and disposal of chemicals, solutions, and buffers
Support in the planning and implementation of training courses and other internal/external activities, including the use of interactive media
Ensuring compliance with EHS requirements and the proper disposal of consumables, solutions, and chemicals, as well as monitoring inventories and reordering in a timely manner
Maintaining equipment lists, maintenance documentation, and laboratory usage records
Collaborating on the continuous improvement of our laboratory and training processes
What will convince us
Completed training as a biological-technical assistant or biology lab technician (x|f|m) or a comparable qualification
Initial professional experience in a biological laboratory; industrial experience is an advantage
Confident handling of laboratory equipment, materials, and working methods in biological laboratories
Structured and detail-oriented approach to work with a highly hands-on mentality
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; we will train you in our procurement software, etc.
You are fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of German is a plus
