Responsibilities

• You will develop and implement global logistics and transport strategies to improve processes and secure our ability to deliver

• You will lead the teams of the local Freight & Distribution division in terms of discipline and expertise

• It is your responsibility to ensure process improvements ( with the help of our ERP system )

• You will develop relevant KPIs to monitor the performance of supply chains

• You will be responsible for demand planning in collaboration with global stakeholders

• You manage the review and improvement of supply chain processes ( quality , cost , lead times and compliance )

• You will be involved in global projects between Sartorius locations around the world

• You will ensure compliance with laws , regulations and ISO requirements

• You will be the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders , advising them on global logistics processes and concepts

• Degree in business administration or comparable

• Several years of experience in various areas of logistics, supply chain – procurement, planning, management of warehouses, with a strong focus on management

• Software skills such as SAP MM, PP and WM are desirable

• Proven project management skills Proven software skills e.g. MS Office and inventory management software

• We expect you to be fluent in German and English as well as to be willing to travel occasionally
