Assistant for Front-end Development (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a student assistant/working student (m/f/d) for the front-end development of our open source software for research data management. Workload 10-20h per week, gross salary 20€/h.

IndiScale is a Germany-wide operating IT service provider and a growing, young company (founded in 2019). We are specialized in the development of open source software for the management of research data (gitlab.com/linkahead). Our customer base consists of research institutes and other academic institutions with different subject areas. We support them in their innovative and scientific work.

Your Responsibilities

In team work with other software developers, you will plan and program software solutions, as well as review, test and document code. This includes databases, server back-end and front-end, client libraries and clients. Your specific tasks will depend on the team’s current needs and your skills. For this purpose, you will take part in meetings, where we discuss customer requirements and define the specific tasks.

Your Profile

• IT-savvy student of any discipline. People in continuing education are also eligible.
• Interest in interdisciplinary work
• Programming skills in HTML+CSS+JavaScript and at best also experience with React.
• Good English skills
• Willingness to learn on the job
