Learning the anterior hip approach (AMIS/DAA) is standard training
In addition to conservative orthopaedic treatment approaches, you will also easily learn the standards of minimally invasive arthroscopic joint surgery on the knee and shoulder joint.
As an innovation in the Musculoskeletal Center, robot-assisted knee endoprosthetics (MAKO Smart Robotics) is offered at the Helios Clinic Blankenhain (robot location) for use across locations in the cluster
Together with the Clinic for Trauma Surgery (Regional Trauma Centre DGU) under the direction of Chief Physician A. Gräfenstein and the Clinic for Spinal Surgery under the direction of Chief Physician Dr. J. Hasselbach, we offer you the full therapeutic spectrum including full authorization for further training as a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery (48 months) in addition to the common trunk
You also have the opportunity to obtain additional training in "Special Trauma Surgery". The specialist department of orthopaedics is headed by our Chief Physician Dr. med. Sebastian Bergmann in a collegial system with the Chief Physician and Medical Director of the Musculoskeletal Centre, Professor Dr. med. Thomas Mückley.
What you bring with you
A license to practice medicine and an interest in the treatment of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system in the sense of the complex training as a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery
You are already at an advanced stage of further training and are aiming to become a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery, or have recently become a specialist and have solid previous experience in orthopaedics and trauma surgery
You enjoy constantly expanding your knowledge and have manual dexterity and an interest in surgery
You are a team player and are highly committed to achieving your training goals
Willingness to participate in the joint duty system for orthopaedics, trauma surgery and spinal surgery: front-of-house services
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
You can look forward to
- Structured further training and the acquisition of further training in special trauma surgery
- Development opportunities through a wide range of further training opportunities at our clinic or the Helios Academy and support in obtaining additional qualifications
- The Helios PlusCard: supplementary insurance financed by Helios with, among other things, elective treatment by a doctor of your choice in the event of hospitalization in one of our acute clinics
- Discounts for over 480 top brands and prevention programs, e.g. discounts at sports studios
- We offer you the chance to travel to work in an environmentally friendly way - with an employer subsidy for the Deutschlandticket
