We currently have an opening for an expert in software cybersecurity analysis. You will be responsible for assessing the security of SoC/IC architectures, specifications, implementations, and testing throughout the entire secure software development lifecycle. You will apply your deep security expertise across a broad range of products, ensuring they meet best-in-class security standards. You are well-versed in Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA). You enjoy guiding teams in the effective use of these tools and helping them elevate their secure coding practices. Your ability to interpret findings and translate them into actionable improvements makes you a trusted advisor in secure development. Beyond individual projects, you are passionate about scaling secure development practices across the organization. You are interested in leading and managing the community of product cybersecurity experts within NXP. You are eager to explore how emerging technologies—particularly AI/ML—can drive efficiency and innovation in secure software development. A proven track record of improving the security posture of applications in previous roles is a strong plus.

To ensure your successful performance in this role, the following is desired

• Bachelor or Master, preferred in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics

• Have good understanding of embedded software design, programming, documentation and testing

• Have 5+ years of experience in the design and development of secure software, focus on embedded systems or complete solutions

• Have professional knowledge of software languages (of particular interest are Assembly, C, Java, Java Card, RUST, Python)

• Have professional knowledge of Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA)

• Are familiar with "state of the art" software tools, CI/CD, engineering processes

• Have very good communication skills, interest in managing a community, customer-focus, be willing to listen and adapt

• Have a strong security background and understanding of security concepts and principles. Knowledge of security certification processes would be advantageous
