As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for implementing automation solutions in standard products as well as for custom solutions for our clients.

Job Description

• Designing and independently implementing automation solutions
• PLC programming and developing control concepts for automation solutions
• Developing and improving standardized PLC modules
• Performing FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Test / Site Acceptance Test)
• Remote maintenance of devices after delivery and troubleshooting
• Close communication with clients and internal departments
• Commissioning systems at the Wolfsberg facility in Carinthia and on client sites

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology
• Solid expertise and relevant professional experience in PLC programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
• Strong proficiency in programming with structured text languages (e.g., SCL)
• High problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work
• Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel (approximately 30%)

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade - adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3,400 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
