Java Developer

Overview

ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced Java Developer for a world leading Intralogistics client of ours based in Graz, Austria.

This role will allow hybrid remote working, requiring you to come onsite 2 days per week.

Your role:

• You will implement the exciting intralogistics projects of our renowned international customers as part of a highly qualified team
• You support the creation of logistics process analyses and customer workshops
• You will work on the conception and design of state-of-the-art logistics software solutions
• You adapt our standard software to the individual needs of our customers
• Your tasks also include software testing including bug fixing as well as realization and software implementation at the customer’s site
• You independently develop manual and automated software solutions

Your profile:

• Completed (higher) technical training in the field of computer science, telematics, software development, etc.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g. Java) and basic knowledge of databases (Oracle or MS SQL)
• Interest in professional and personal development as well as project responsibility
• Initial relevant professional experience in software development (object-oriented programming) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX or Windows operating systems
• English fluency is required, German would be a plus
