Responsibilities
Configuration of Network and Security Components
Whether it's Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto – you configure and automate components from leading vendors, ensuring secure and high-performance connectivity.
Analysis and Support
You approach complex network issues methodically and find pragmatic solutions – quickly, sustainably, and with a team-oriented mindset.
Monitoring and Optimization
Using professional tools, you monitor the network infrastructure and initiate targeted improvement measures as needed.
Automation of Routine Tasks
You automate recurring tasks using tools like Ansible or Python – efficiently, transparently, and with a future-oriented approach.
Project Work in the Network Domain
From initial design to final implementation, you actively contribute your expertise to infrastructure projects.
Implementing and Evolving Security Concepts
You contribute to the introduction and continuous improvement of our security architectures – in line with current standards.
Innovation and Development of Network Infrastructure
You contribute your ideas to the ongoing evolution of our network architecture and actively shape the technological future of our infrastructure.
Profile
Admission Requirements
- Completed IT apprenticeship or advanced technical education (HTL, technical Matura, technical Bachelor's/Master's degree), a comparable relevant qualification, or equivalent professional experience
- Language skills: Good knowledge of German and English
Desired Qualification
Technical Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies
- Practical experience in configuring and administering network hardware (e.g., Cisco switches, firewalls)
- Basic knowledge of automation and programming (e.g., Ansible, Python) and data formats such as JSON or YAML
- Desirable: Experience in cloud or container networking, as well as with Linux networks
- Certifications such as CCNA are an advantage
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of responsibility

- Analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently
- Enjoyment of teamwork and communication
- Willingness to learn new technologies and engage in continuous professional development

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,007.00 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
