Join us as a Regional Key Account Manager (f/m/x) and take the lead in managing strategic customer relationships and international sales agreements in a technical environment.
Job Description
- Develop and expand regional key accounts by identifying organizational structures, key decision-makers, and technical requirements
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships through regular visits and engagement with key stakeholders
- Ensure our products are listed as preferred solutions and recognized for their technical excellence within customer organizations
- Lead the negotiation, closure, and renewal/termination of global and regional framework agreements, in alignment with internal approval processes
- Collaborate closely with national sales teams and business units to align strategies and activities
- Provide product management with insights into customer needs, future requirements, and market trends
- Drive market penetration through initiatives such as product presentations, sales promotions, upgrade programs, and targeted discount strategies for key accounts
- Achieve annual sales targets within your assigned region and accounts
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in international B2B key account management or strategic sales in a technical or industrial environment
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly with global and regional contracts
- Excellent communication skills when working with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product and sales teams
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; German language skills are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 40% of the time)
