• 5+ years building production web applications end‑to‑end.
• Expert knowledge of TypeScript/React (hooks, state‑management, modern build tooling).
• Proficiency in Python — enough to extend existing services and design clean API contracts.
• Solid understanding of relational data modelling (PostgreSQL or equivalent) and caching strategies.
• Familiar with AWS or GCP, Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong product sense: ability to translate product requirements into delightful UX and clean code.
• Excellent communication skills and a bias toward ownership in a fast‑moving startup.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience building developer‑facing SaaS or ML tooling.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation libraries (e.g. Recharts, D3) for live training dashboards.
• Understanding of MLOps concepts and GPU/edge‑deployment constraints.
• Contributions to open‑source web or ML frameworks.

• Web‑app ownership – set the technical direction, ship the first public release and evolve the product with user feedback.
• Build elegant React + TypeScript components that guide users through onboarding, dataset creation, teacher evaluation and model deployment.
• Collaborate with backend, ML and UX teams to design and iteratively improve endpoints that surface distillation workflows and metrics.
• Make targeted backend changes (backend/infra) to unblock product features when necessary
• Integrate third‑party services for authentication, payments, and analytics.
• Establish CI/CD, automated testing and observability for both frontend and backend code you touch.
