Über diesen Job
This is the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and govern a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program across the Professional business within Miele.
The program manages the harmonization of business requirements for industrial and medical products between Miele Professional and SteelcoBelimed (part of Miele Professional). The transition includes a legal carve out including foundation of new legal entities plus the transfer into an adopted IT landscape based on SAP S/4 and Teamcenter X as well as multiple other applications.
This role is accountable for end-to-end program delivery, aligning and implementing business processes, driving process transformation, and overseeing technology implementation. The program also includes carve-out activities and change management to ensure measurable business outcomes.
The role therefore requires strong professional judgment and extensive experience in leading complex transformation programs in a manufacturing environment. In addition to proven program management expertise, a solid understanding of operational business processes and their effective translation into sustainable technology solutions is essential. Experience in driving changes across all organizational levels within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Your responsibilities
You take full ownership of the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation program, covering business process redesign, IT transformation, carve-out activities, and the establishment of dedicated legal entities.
In this role, you align business process strategy, operational transformation, and technology implementation to ensure measurable and sustainable business outcomes across the organization.
Together with executive stakeholders, you establish and lead a robust governance framework, including steering committees, decision forums, as well as comprehensive risk and financial management structures.
You lead complex, multi-year, multi-vendor program environments with multiple parallel workstreams, ensuring seamless alignment across business, operations, and IT.
Overall accountability for delivering the program within defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets lies with you, while you drive effective change management across all organizational levels.
What we are looking for
Completed university degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable field, ideally complemented by a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, SAFe or similar), along with several years of experience in leading large-scale ERP transformation programs, including significant SAP S/4HANA leadership responsibility; prior accountability for enterprise-wide budgets (€10–50M) is an advantage.
Very strong understanding of manufacturing or asset-intensive industries and deep knowledge of enterprise IT architecture, ideally within medical or industrial environments.
You possess strong analytical and strategic capabilities combined with profound expertise in end-to-end transformation across technology and operations, including business process redesign, operating model transformation, and organizational change management.
You demonstrate excellent governance, planning, financial steering, and risk management capabilities and are able to manage executive-level stakeholders in complex matrix organizations.
You have strong communication and conflict management skills as well as a structured, pragmatic, and results-oriented working style paired with resilience and leadership drive in an international transformation environment. In addition, you are fluent in English at full professional level and willing to travel within Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria as required.
