Responsibilities

• Lead our global Team for Automation Platform Development, including its subteams and Experts

• Align and implement with other software groups on methodology and processes for development projects

• Set up a development infrastructure to be able to develop the platform functionality required by multiple software products

• Set up a highly efficient test infrastructure and define test procedures, to find and reduce Failures as early as possible

• Strong collaboration with all Stakeholders of the Automation Platform

• Have constant overview about new technological developments and trends in development tools and techniques and integrate these new techniques into the daily work of the team

• Drive global team utilization and setup

• Drive open, integrative software platform deve lopment approaches

• MSc in Automation E ngineering (Equivalent qualification in mathematics or engineering for mechanical, electrical, software or bioscience

• Extensive experience working in a development environment with more recent proven experience in a leadership role

• Experience in Automation of Biotechnology Equipment ( e.g. ISA88) is a plus

• Expert in agile development methodologies is a must

• Analytical approach

• Fluent in English, professional working proficiency in German is a plus

• Proven experience in working with teams from multiple cultures

• Up to 25% international travel required
