Responsibilities

• You take the lead in designing and implementing process automation assets for our modular automation platform based on Siemens PLC and WinCC OA technology

• Translating process requirements into robust automation architectures , control concepts , and software designs is part of your daily work

• You review and verify functional and design specifications to ensure quality and compliance

• Acting as a hands -on technical authority , you contribute directly to PLC programming , including code creation , review, and approval

• You mentor and guide automation engineers and developers , fostering technical excellence within the team

• Working closely with project managers , you help ensure end‑ to ‑end solution viability and successful delivery

• Your support for project planning includes effort estimation and technical risk management

• You hold a Master’s degree in Science; a Ph.D . is considered a plus

• With at least five years of industry experience in process automation or related fields , you bring extensive expertise

• Your deep understanding of process automation and related standards such as ISA‑95 and ISA‑88 sets you apart

• You have demonstrated technical leadership within product development projects , including stakeholder management

• A strong proficiency in Siemens PLCs and programming in Structured Control Language (SCL) using TIA Portal is expected

• You are familiar with computer systems validation practices (GAMP)

• An understanding of TOGAF principles complements your skill set

• Experience in upstream and downstream bioprocessing is advantageous , though not required
