Technical Specialist Purity & Cleaning / Contamination Control
We at VAT Group AG, headquartered in Switzerland, invite a both talented and visionary Technical Specialist Purity &Cleaning to join our SSG (Semiconductor Solutions Group ) - one of our most valued Departments. This particular open Role role is created for our Corporate R&D Business Unit within the SSG.
VAT’s Corporate R&D Business Unit Advanced Products is whre we create a sustainable competitive advantage for VAT through core research programs and develop additional new technologies and differentiated solutions to expand our business.
Become an expert at cleaning and purity for semiconductor industry to be a central knowledge carrier in the discussion with our manufacturing and assembly unit, our customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining global specifications for cleaning and purity (e.g. cleanrooms)
- Define and manage the acceptance criteria for cleanrooms & media (cooperation with FAM)
- Create global guidelines and specifications for cleanroom aids to be used (e.g. UV lamps) as well as how to maintain cleanliness
- Consolidate customer specifications and derive specific central VAT guidelines
- Define cleaning and purity requirements for quality assurance at the supplier
- Set standards to meet customer-specific work instructions on cleanliness level according to high purity customer specifications (cleaning, handling and packaging components)
- Reappraisal/study of customer specifications - definition of training content (cleanliness, clean rooms, behavior...)
- Research and creation of global documents on the topic of cleanliness
Your qualifications:
- Professional experience of +3 years in Semiconductor manufacturing Industry
- Hands-on experience (e.g. particle counter)
- Microsoft Office skills
- Very good mechanical understanding
- German and English required (for customer specifications)
- Analytical understanding
- Independent way of working
- Independent creation of global documents
