To empowerment the team of designers at the workplace in Jičín, we are looking for a motivated employee for the position:
Designer Wheel Engineering
(m/w)
MAIN TASKS:
- Develop light alloy wheels and accessories for well-known automobile manufacturers and products
- Create customer-oriented 3D models and 2D part drawings
- Manage and maintain data in the PLM system
- Independently configure light alloy wheels and calculate/simulate their optimization
- Carry out modifications and optimizations on existing projects
- Work with project managers, designers and production departments
- Work with and support our international production facilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical training as a design engineer
- Higher vocational further training in engineering is an advantage
- Solid experience in Siemens NX or Catia V5 3D CAD systems; experience in 3D freeform surface modeling with Alias or ICEM preferable
- Good spatial sense
- Good understanding of complex technical tasks
- Proficiency in 2D / 3D CAx systems
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Very good written and spoken English, German is an advantage
- Well-developed technical and planning skills
- Strongly analytical and systematic approach to working
- Able to work in a team and in an international environment
- Very reliable, quality-oriented, efficient and able to work under pressure
- Flexible, open-minded and loyal personality
