GEVAG GmbH is a competent dealer and manufacturer of connection technology with high quality standards. We employ approximately 65 people at our Hagen and Breckerfeld locations. Our customers are well-known companies from the automotive, electrical, construction supply and mechanical engineering sectors.

We are immediately looking for a new Purchaser (m/f/d) for our location in D-58091 Hagen.

Your tasks

• Initiating orders in the ERP system and ensuring timely deliveries
• Independent execution of inquiries and negotiations with suppliers within the defined areas of responsibility
• Processing complaints in cooperation with quality assurance and suppliers
• Planning and monitoring of the assigned product and sales groups
• Support in the development and implementation of procurement strategies as well as participation in the identification of potential suppliers
• Support of supplier management and continuous improvement processes
• Master data maintenance and optimization of the purchasing process

Your profile

• You have successfully completed vocational training, e.g. as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• You have sound professional experience in operational purchasing
• You have a basic technical understanding of the products to be supported
• You have good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
• Proficient use of MS Office programs is a matter of course for you
• Flexibility, assertiveness and teamwork complete your profile
