Data Architect

As a Data Architect at oh22, you will design modern, scalable data architectures that form the backbone of our clients’ analytical and operational systems. You translate business requirements into well-structured data models and guide customers through architectural decisions that ensure quality, performance, and long-term maintainability. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical knowledge with strong communication skills and enjoys working closely with clients to shape future-ready data solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing data architectures based on best practices for scalability, governance, and performance

• Developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for complex business domains

• Leading workshops, requirements discussions, and architectural reviews with clients

• Implementing solutions on Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and modern Lakehouse architectures

• Defining data standards, modeling guidelines, and integration patterns

• Collaborating with data engineers, cloud engineers, and analysts to ensure consistent execution

• Providing technical guidance, documentation, and architectural decision support

What you bring:

• Strong experience in data modeling (entity modeling, dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization)

• Practical expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Lakehouse concepts, and Delta Lake

• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and data structures

• Confidence in leading client discussions and explaining architectural decisions

• Understanding of data quality, governance, and lifecycle management principles

• A structured, analytical mindset and a passion for building clean, future-proof architectures

• Commitment to high-quality engineering and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
