Task description:
A nalysis of product designs and industrial assembly technologies to ensure a good balance, supporting the goals of future aircraft programs
Contribute to understanding upcoming aircraft designs, their requirements, and performance targets
Support the design and development of innovative assembly and robotics solutions for future aircraft manufacturing
Identify gaps in current technology and assist in defining requirements for new research and technology projects
Participate in projects to develop and demonstrate new process capabilities, helping to advance them to a higher level of readiness
Assess the technical feasibility, maturity, value (e.g., safety, sustainability, cost), and risks of new ideas
Collaborate with various internal functions across multiple sites, including Industrial Component Architects, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams
Assist in engagement with external partners, such as private industrial companies and public academic institutions, to support technology development efforts
Required qualifications:
The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Manufacturing Engineering or Assembly or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways
Required expertise:
Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
Knowledge and experience of manufacturing, engineering and assembly processes in aviation industry
Knowledge and experience in project management with experience in an international environment
Independent working style, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
Strong negotiating skills
Strong improvisation and organisational skills
German and English: negotiation level mandatory (speaking and writing)
Willingness to travel occasionally on business, domestically and abroad
Location:
