In this role, you manage strategic procurement activities for global transport and logistics services and shape supplier relationships across the Airbus Group.

Your tasks

You are responsible for end-to-end procurement activities in the transport and logistics domain, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

• Development and implementation of supplier and sourcing strategies for transport and logistics services

• Management of a portfolio of strategic logistics and transport service providers, including customs-related services

• Contracting, commercial negotiations and contractualisation of terms and conditions

• Preparation and execution of calls for tender, including contract drafting and negotiations

• Market intelligence and analysis in line with procurement market segment strategies

• Coordination and support of multi-functional and multi-divisional teams throughout the sourcing and contract lifecycle

• Monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvements, including claim management and commercial settlements

• Management of internal stakeholders during all engagement phases, including critical situations

• Contribution to strategic projects in sustainability, supply chain resilience, competitiveness, digitalisation and innovation

Your profile

You combine strong procurement expertise with analytical skills and the ability to operate in complex, international environments.

• University degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, economics or a comparable field

• Several years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, logistics or contract management

• Solid understanding of strategic sourcing and project-based procurement activities

• Strong analytical, structured and result-oriented working style

• High level of negotiation skills, assertiveness and stakeholder management capability

• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multifunctional teams

• Fluent English skills

• Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage

• Confident use of digital tools, e.g. Google Workspace
