Your Tasks
As a Data Analytics Manager (all genders) you are responsible on a local level for gathering, analysing, interpreting and transforming data into actionable insights that drive data-driven, smarter marketing, media and digital decisions across all cosmetic brands. You will work closely with marketing, media, digital and regional analytics teams to understand consumer behavior, evaluate campaign effectiveness and continuously optimize performance. You will also be setting the AI transformation agenda for our marketing team and define & lead pilot programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate data collection and tracking across marketing, media and digital platform
- Integrate data from multiple sources to provide a holistic view of campaign and brand performance
- Analyze marketing, media and digital performance using local and regional data sets
- Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc insightful performance reports (e.g. campaign, ROI, conversion, audience insights)
- Support media and marketing teams with insights for priorities, planning, briefings, activation and optimization
- Drive campaign optimization together with media and digital managers
- Create and support the use of standardized reporting tools and dashboards that align with business objectives
- Define and contribute or lead AI and advanced analytics use cases in marketing to increase speed and efficiency
- Monitor market trends, competitors and new data, analytics and AI tools in the market
- Plan and execute local shopper or media research in line with global guidelines and standards.
- Define local data roadmap in collaboration with the regional team to anticipate future needs and ensure accurate reporting of market and campaign performance
Stakeholder & Interface Management:
- Close collaboration with local Marketing, Media, Digital and Communication teams as well as the local Sales Data & Analytics team
- Key interface to regional Data & Analytics teams
- Collaboration with external partners (e.g. Nielsen, GFK, advertising platforms such as google or meta and other data providers) and media & digital agency
- Primary contact for local Marketing Director and General Manager for questions related to marketing, communication, media & digital insights
Your Profile
- Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field
- Several years of experience in data & analytics, marketing analytics or media analytics
- Strong understanding of media, digital and marketing performance metrics
- Experience with data sources and tools (e.g. media & digital data, social data, market research)
- Strong Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business-relevant insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present findings in an engaging, strategic format.
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage
