We´re supporting an international company in the maritime industry in recruiting a Fleet Manager (m/f/d) Mixed Fleet. We are seeking an experienced leader who will take full technical, operational, and commercial responsibility for a modern fleet segment while ensuring top-level safety and quality standards. You´ll be the leader of a team of 10-15 professionals. Fleet Manager (m/f/d) - Mixed Fleet - Shipping

The Job:

• Oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of an assigned fleet segment
• Fleet consists of different vessel types - Container, Bulk, Tanker, Offshore
• Manage maintenance and repair activities, including inspections, audits, dockings, and technical projects
• Ensure professional use and continuous development of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
• Lead, coach, and develop an interdisciplinary team (e.g., technical staff, superintendents, procurement)
• Maintain regular communication with clients and owners’ representatives, ensuring excellent service delivery
• Drive improvements in operational safety, efficiency, and process quality
• Monitor industry trends and integrate relevant developments into fleet strategy

Your Profile:

• Degree in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field alternatively: senior seagoing qualification (Master or Chief Engineer)
• Several years of experience in a responsible role within a ship-owning or ship-management organisation
• At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in a shore-based position
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of team orientation, hands-on mentality, and problem-solving capability
• Enjoy working in an international, multicultural environment
• Excellent command of English
