Are you interested in the railway projects and would like to be part of a well-functioning rail environment where quality, innovation, and professional development are paramount?

We are experiencing significant growth in the Rail sector at Ramboll and are therefore seeking new colleagues. Ramboll works on some of the largest rail projects, in Denmark but also Germany and across other borders.

We are flexible with the workplace, which can be in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Vejle or even Hamburg or Karlsruhe.

Ramboll is a global engineering, architecture, and consultancy company dedicated to innovative and sustainable solutions. Our mission is to create long-lasting impacts on the communities we serve and the planet as a whole.

Your new role

We are looking for one or more German-speaking specialists to join our dynamic team. You may be an engineer, a constructor, an electrician or something else, as long as you are up for the job.

In this role, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with clients, collaborators, and colleagues, ensuring successful project outcomes, and depending on your profile, you might do design planning or project managing.

As a Designer or Project Manager at Ramboll, you will work on projects and become a major part of driving and further developing our areas of expertise in collaboration with Ramboll's most experienced professionals and specialists.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Design of systems according to German and Danish standards
  • Preparation of relevant technical documentation
  • Contributing to the preparation of tender documents
  • Communicating with colleagues and departments in Denmark and Germany
  • Leading track projects

By becoming part of Ramboll, your everyday life will be characterized by a high degree of sparring, where both professional and personal development is paramount. You will enter a professionally strong and engaged environment that spans from newly graduated employees with the latest knowledge from universities to very experienced employees who have worked in the field for many years.

About you

  • You are an engineer or have a technical background.
  • Preferably you have experience as a consultant, contractor, supplier, or infrastructure manager – but you could also be a newly graduate.
  • You have good collaboration and communication skills and the ability to transform your technical knowledge into value-creating advice for your customers and colleagues.
  • You articulate yourself clearly in German and English, both verbally and in writing.

What we can offer you

  • Commitment to your development
  • Leaders guided by our Leadership Principles
  • A culture that welcomes you as the unique person you are
  • Inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects
  • The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company
  • Flexible working hours and locations
  • Hybrid working: 2-3 days of mobile working per week
  • Permanent employment, with part-time possibilities
  • An extensively subsidised 'Germany ticket'
  • Contribution to company pension scheme and occupational disability insurance
