We are looking for a Global Key Account Manager to lead strategic partnerships with two of the world’s top wind energy companies: Vestas and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. This is a high-impact, international role for a self-driven professional who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about shaping the future of energy through innovation.

Your role

You will develop and grow profitable, sustainable sales with Vestas and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. You will drive business development across the entire value chain—from manufacturing to construction and service—ensuring that our smart solutions deliver value at every stage. Leading global contract negotiations will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with guaranteeing service excellence for our customers. You will work closely with local Customer Centers to align strategies and create cohesive growth, while championing customer satisfaction and technical excellence at every touchpoint.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Leadership – Build and execute long-term account strategies.
  • Business Development & Growth – Identify opportunities and drive adoption of smart solutions.
  • Relationship Management – Foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Commercial & Contract Expertise – Lead negotiations and manage global agreements.
  • Internal Collaboration – Coordinate with cross-functional teams worldwide.
  • Global Mobility – Travel internationally to engage with customers and teams.

This role reports directly to the Global Business Development Manager – Smart Field, and it´s part of the General Industry – Smart Field team.

To succeed, you will need
  • Proven experience in Key Account Management and Industrial B2B Sales.
  • Background in strategic sales, business development, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to work across functions and navigate global markets.
  • Knowledge of the wind energy industry and its processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Customer-centric mindset with flexibility for global travel.
  • English proficient is required, Danish and German considered a plus.

Job location

Ideally this position should be in one of the Nordic countries or Northern Germany. Quick and easy access to the central decision-making centers of the customers is crucial.
