Intern Founders Associate (m/f/d) –

START: Immediately for 3-6 months with the option of a permanent position

We are looking for an ambitious Founder’s Associate to work directly with our founding team and gain insights into all aspects of a startup. You will work at the interface between operations, project management and product – a unique opportunity to actively shape the next development step from seed to Series A in one of Germany’s fast-growing AI startups.

Blockbrain is an early-stage tech startup that develops AI solutions that really help people in their day-to-day work. We help leading SMEs to efficiently utilize their most important asset – their business knowledge – while protecting their sensitive data. Our founders Honza Ngo (WHU), Mattias Protzmann (Statista) and Antonius Gress (Bosch) started Blockbrain because they believe that AI should not be complicated and at the same time must be ethically integrated.

Our AI construction kit enables users to build customized AI assistants and automated workflows for various use cases in just a few minutes without any programming knowledge. Our unique combination of proprietary technology for data processing and data security sets us apart from other providers, enabling our customers to integrate AI into existing systems quickly and in compliance with data protection regulations.

As a Founders Associate you will get the chance to work directly with our founding team – no routine tasks, but responsibility for challenging projects. You will be part of our dynamic Operations & Product team and build the key internal processes to take us to the next stage of growth (from €1M ARR to €10M ARR).

In this key position, you will play a decisive role in shaping the user experience and our corporate culture and ensure that technical customer requirements, go-to-market strategies and special projects are implemented precisely.
You will work in an international team with clear structures, where the flexibility and dynamism of a tech start-up is nevertheless maintained.

Working with the founders

• You take responsibility for strategic projects
• You help create presentations that really make a difference
• You analyze competitors and market trends in the AI sector
• You will help manage various operational tasks to maintain business operations and further develop the organization.

In Technical Project Management & Product

• You help to present our products so that everyone understands them
• You develop templates that show what our AI can do in different industries
• You help shape how we bring new customers on board
• You help decide which new features we build next
• You contribute your own ideas on how we can make our product even better

Customer communication

• You help users and customers stay up-to-date with product updates
• You help to find the perfect use cases for each customer
• You collect feedback and help us to improve

What you bring with you

You have a degree in business administration, business informatics or a similar field. Practical experience in tech projects is valuable, but your understanding of AI and your willingness to learn count more for us.
Specifically, you should bring the following with you:

• Experience with AI language models and ideally prompt engineering
• Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira
• Fluency in German and English for communication with customers and the team
